This Peter Thomson designed course presents a unique opportunity for golfers to really test their standard. While the front nine presents a more open style of golf with spectacular views proving the greatest distraction, the back nine is more of a challenge as it winds its way through native gums and bushland. The 18 hole championship course has been rated number 17 in NSW and number 92 in Australia. When you visit you will soon see why. While playing from the men's blue tees is a worthwhile challenge for golfers to undertake, the same can apply for the woman from the red tees. The yellow and white tees do however provide for a more leisurely round. In the clubhouse and it’s time to unwind with a cup of coffee, a refreshing drink, a meal or snack in the Seaview Bistro or simply sit and admire the panoramic ocean views from the lounge.

Bermagui Country Club has some fabulous views of the quintessential seaside town of Bermagui, Horseshoe Bay and the brooding Mt Dromedary (or Gulaga to the local Kooris). Fairways are lush and most are lined with a variety of beautiful trees. While you wouldn’t say this is a heavily bunkered course, there are many strategically placed sand traps, many long par 4’s and a number of blind shots to excellent greens. Water features prominently on a number of holes, not least being the 164 metre 15th where the fairway is a lake.
Be aware that at 6,085 metres (Par 72), this is a serious walk with plenty of hills. You may consider a cart. We think you will really enjoy our high quality and challenging course, the beautiful panoramic views and abundant birdlife. Simply put, Bermagui is a beauty – and tough.
After you finish your round, why not pop into our club house for a cold drink or a meal at the Terrace Restaurant where both a-la-carte or bistro meals are available. Other facilities include a sports TAB, KENO and large screen television for the sports enthusiast.
